Can I customise the layout or finishes?
Yes! Our new-build homes can be personalised with layout tweaks, colours, cladding options, kitchen or bathroom upgrades, and more. We’ll guide you through the choices to make sure your tiny home suits your style and lifestyle.
What do you recommend for the foundations?
We recommend screw piles — they’re fast, solid, and don’t make a mess of your site.
Screw piles can be installed quickly without digging or concrete, and they’re ready to build on straight away. They work on all sorts of terrain, including uneven or sloped sections, and they’re easy to remove or reuse if needed in the future.
They’re also a great low-impact option — ideal for sites near trees, environmentally sensitive areas, or if you want to minimise ground disturbance.
Do I need consent for a tiny home?
It depends on your local council and what it will be used for. In many cases, consents can be simplified — especially for smaller, secondary dwellings. We can help assess your site and work with you on what’s required.
Can I rent a tiny home instead of buying?
Yes — all of our homes are available to rent. It’s a great option if you’re after flexibility without the upfront cost of purchasing.
Can I finance my tiny home?
Yes, we work with a range of finance providers. We can talk you through what’s available and help you get pre-approval if needed.
How long will it take to build my tiny home?
Build times can vary depending on demand. Chat with our team for current lead times and what we’ve got in stock.
Do you deliver anywhere in New Zealand?
We deliver throughout most of the country. Access can vary depending on your site and the size of your tiny home, but we’ll assess it and make a plan that works. We can also help with placement, setup, and connection on delivery day.
Do you do on-site builds?
No — all of our homes are pre-built and delivered ready to go, avoiding weeks or months of construction mess, noise and weather delays.
Does the guttering come installed?
No — to prevent damage during transport, it’s best to fit guttering once the tiny home is on-site.
You’re welcome to handle this yourself, or we can point you toward the right installers if you’d like a hand.
How are power, water, and waste connected?
If there’s an electrical outlet nearby, you can connect your tiny home using the lead we provide. A 32-amp power upgrade comes as standard allowing you to run higher-powered appliances.
Water is just as easy — you’ll use a food-grade pipe to connect to your on-site water supply.
For hot water, every home includes a certified gas califont system. You can hook up to two LPG bottles at a time (not supplied), keeping things efficient and on-demand.
Wastewater setup depends on your site. Where possible, it's best to connect to existing services. If the connection is a bit further away, a macerator pump may be needed. We can talk you through all your options, including septic systems, composting or incinerator toilets — whatever fits your section best.
Do you have options for going off the grid?
Absolutely. More and more people are choosing to go off-grid.
We offer a range of options including solar power systems with battery storage, so you can generate and store your own electricity without needing a mains connection.
For wastewater and toilets, there are a few great alternatives depending on your setup. Composting toilets, incinerator toilets, and septic systems can all be tailored to your site and lifestyle.
If you’re thinking off-grid, we can help create a sustainable setup that works.
Can I add a deck or outdoor area?
Absolutely. Many of our customers choose to add a timber deck or pergola to extend the living space and create indoor-outdoor flow. We can help design something that suits your tiny home and section.
Do the homes come with a warranty?
Yes — every new tiny home comes with a 5-year structural warranty as standard, so you can feel confident in your investment.
On top of that, individual components like appliances, plumbing, and fittings come with their own manufacturer warranties, which vary depending on the product. Talk to us about what’s covered and for how long.
